From a historical perspective a super interesting place. We have visited the monastery and are impressed by what you can learn from the region. So you're curious. The complex is a dream and worth every photo. At the moment the complex is restored, which is why not all places can be considered equivalent, but the enthusiasm does not stop. A very nice place to walk and relax. We've saved our visit because of Corona, walking around with a mask in the free time is just nothing for us, but it has to be like that right now. Nevertheless, we experienced a beautiful time and looked at everything. Only the parking fees I found annoying why there is only a 24-hour ticket for 4€, you could at least offer a 6h ticket for 2€, or from me only three hours, that would have been enough for us.

A very nice destination for the family excursion on Sunday. The facilities belonging to the monastery are extensive; So you should schedule some more time. Gastronomy facilities, the Klosterschänke, the Klosterladen and the Vinothek are also worth a visit. In the footsteps of medieval monks, Sir Sean Connery, in the film “The Name of the Rose”, walked through the corridors of the monastery.

A super complex, both from the outside and from the inside. possibility to recommend food in the monastery kitchen; also under corona conditions. Very nice staff. Large Vinothek, with the opportunity to taste wines and also to be advised. Of course, everything has its price. But until the inflexible daily price of 4 euros for parking spaces the prices for the offer are reasonable.
