Kohinoor Esslingen

Recently we've spend a good dinner evening at Kohinoor. The buffet (Tuesday to Thursday - 10€) was well organised. Soup and chicken wings as starter, shahi paneer and chicken korma - and of course dāl.Service was fast and friendly - many people were there, which I take for a good sign ...Food good and descent - not very Indian though, which might be 'helpful' for Germans .... ;-)I loved the the desserts most - wonderful kulfi taste and semolina with safron and kardamon.We'll come again soon!

If you like Indian food, this is the place to be! I have been traveling to germany for last 9 yrs and i at least 3 times a yr this is the first time i went n i must say yummy food . i met the owner and had a chat with him very polite people . butter chicken shahi panner was yummy . rotis were amazingly soft . i enjoyed every bit of food there, felt like home food away from home .only thig need improvement is delivery time they need to deliver more quickly.

I had high expectations after seeing rather positive reviews of this place on Trip Advisor, however we were extremely disappointed. The starter of pakoras was dry, as was my main which was a potato and califlower dish. My friend had the butter chicken, which contained 6 pieces of chicken. The service could also be improved as even though it was quiet, we had to wave and wolf whistle before we were served. Would avoid!

Koohinoor was a huge disappointment. We ordered a chicken and a lamb curry. In the chicken curry there were perhaps six small pieces of meat and the sauce was more or less tasteless. The lamb was better, but the sauce was weak and runny. The mango lassis tasted as if they were made from powder. Most infuriating are that the prices are those of a *good* Indian restaurant. This is not worth the money. Go somewhere else. Réservez une table maintenant

if you want to try north indian food while stuttgart ,kohinoor is a good choice,,nothing very special about the place,staff are very polite and they have a good buffet with mostly north indian dishes. located at a very quite place near lowen markt
