Came here for our first date night post baby for the omakase and left feeling like it was a fun experience, but not sure about the value, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. We sat at the sushi bar and asked for an omakase for $60 pp, so $120 total. The sushi chef gave us about 7 10 sushi pieces each. The highlight was probably the scallop for us. The experience was fun, but when you can order a sushi platter and have so much more food the experience of the omakase left a little to be desired. Maybe I need to have a different mindset around it. I appreciate the chef serving us the items at the bar, but I also wish for perhaps slightly more background or have it be more experiential if it's focus...
This is a wonderful casual sushi spot! The staff is friendly, and the ambiance is both lively and relaxed. The sushi chefs are truly skilled at what they do! It's hard to find fresh seafood, so I really appreciated how fresh and beautifully presented my meal was. This was my first time visiting, but I will definitely be back. Keep up the excellent work and continue to maintain that warm, welcoming atmosphere with your delicious, fresh seafood! Freshness is essential! Chef Sunny Food: 5
Little odd to come here for omakase but with Shin sang behind the counter it couldn't be any better. Have known him since japanese village and always been great. Fish quality is always excellent not too thick n not too thin. Always explain whether to dip in soy sauce or not. It's too bad since I just relocate to east coast. Long live Shin sang n koi!!
We visited this restaurant for our first date night after having a baby, eagerly looking forward to the omakase experience. Although we had a great time, we're left wondering if it justified the price, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars.

The service was slow, and the prices were far too high. While the tempura was enjoyable, the sea bass was small and had a distinctly fishy taste, as if it were past its prime. These two items cost $55.00.

Great Japanese restaurant with approximately 30 seats and a spacious sushi bar that accommodates around 20. The fish was fresh and the salad was delicious.
We had the omakase, and it was truly amazing! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. We definitely recommend it!
