This cozy restaurant is a hidden gem, offering delicious and authentic Jamaican cuisine. The staff, who seem like one big family, are incredibly welcoming. We were greeted by Shariah, who was busy making fresh juices behind the counter. Although we arrived at the end of the breakfast buffet, she kindly seated us and we enjoyed a variety of dishes including ackee and saltfish, breadfruit, callaloo, dumplings, plantains, and rice and peas for just $9.00 per person. The food was exceptional and reminded me of my Jamaican mother's cooking. Sharika, another member of the family, served us multiple rounds of food while also working hard in the kitchen with her mom. We had a great conversation with...

We have confused the Kool Katts Caribbean Restaurant with the same owner's juice bar. Please check the review for Kool Katts Caribbean Restaurant. It is really for the juice bar.. Unfortunately the juice bar was not stocked sufficiently for customers on the day we went. But we were able to enjoy the rice and peas, steamed bok choy and carrots, curried goat, plantains, and oxtail. Everything tasted good, but there was something about it that made it feel one generation removed from the homeland. However, they had Red Stripe beer on hand which made us feel at home. Definitely worth trying. Easy to locate because it is right on the Red Line of the local WEGO.

Visited this place on a Saturday afternoon because we wanted some authentic Caribbean. The ambience was authentic and there was a little seatng area inside as well as outside seating. There was one guest inside who had been waiting for about 15 minutes and a couple of other's after that. We were told it would be a minute. We ended up just getting veggie and beef patties (they were out of coco bread) and a couple of Grace ginger beers. They were delicious.... All the food that came out past us looked amazing... Wish we had waited for a full meal.

My husband and I was looking for a place to eat Caribbean food while in Niagara Falls. We came across this place and only had the expectation that it would be decent. We were greeted warmly when we entered. It was Sunday and they had a buffet style set up. We fixed our plates, sat down and oh boy was we in heaven after our first bite. The food was so good, it was excellent. We enjoyed the food, the service and the price.
