My favourite brunch place in Waterloo hands down. The food is delicious, the portions are great. And it is very affordable! The atmosphere is very homey and the service and staff are great. It is usually busy when I’ve went but I’ve never had to wait a super long time, if you’re waiting, it goes by pretty quickly and they are able to seat people quite shortly after being put on a list. Whether you’re a sweet vs. savoury person, there’s something for everyone on the menu.I’ve gone there a few times and the staff there are all so friendly Brenda specifically has served me several times and is awesome!If you’re a fan of crab cakes they have really good crab cakes here!!
1st experience in their new location but won't be the last. Went with a large group of friends and staff was able to easily accommodate our number. The atmosphere was lively and the restaurant was bright and clean. We were served by one of the friendliest, professional young ladies you could hope to meet. The food took a little time to arrive but once it did it was well worth it. There was an ample portion, made with fresh ingredients and served piping hot, along with being reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful dining experience.
Had a lovely breakfast date with my husband in Korner Kitchen and it just set a positive tone of that whole day.The interior exudes grandeur leading you to think that it’s a lavish way to start the day, but the food is reasonably priced and generously portioned. Plus, our server Kelsey was a darling who attended to us all throughout our stay with warmth.So as someone who has always been head over heels over breakfast dates, I will definitely come back, hopefully with our kids too, soon.
I visited this restaurant two years ago and tried their French toast, which was delicious and highly praised by the staff (as seen in photo 1). However, when I went back today on August 8th, 2023, the staff still raved about the French toast but they had changed the bread completely, which ruined the dish for me (as shown in photo 2). Despite the lovely toppings, I ended up hating the dish and felt disappointed after spending $16 on it.
Great spot for brunch. The service is amazing, staff are very friendly. There is normally a wait to get in as it is always busy normally wait is around 10 15mins. The food is very good they have great breakfast, lunch and brunch options. My partner enjoyed their California benedict and the tofu scrambler was a unique and interestingly tasty dish. They do have multiple options for vegetarians Would definitely visit again.
I went to the restaurant on a Thursday afternoon and was surprised to see how busy it was. However, after experiencing the friendly service, charming decor, and fantastic food, I understood why. I will definitely be returning. I give it a perfect 5 out of 5 for the food.
