I had a tea last week with my aunt and it was great! Let me shape this with our high tea bar, the only place we were before was at the Grand Floridian Resort in Disney. The bar is high. Queen of Hearts lived up to our expectations! Not only was the tea itself irritating (there was about 6 I wanted to try, but settled on Yorkshire Earl Grey) the food came carefully packed and was nice itself. Queen of Hearts went beyond and beyond to put my no peach request (of course we had to choose Drepeach weekend! Lol. We ordered a take-home tea kit for Valentine's Day, and it was a lovely assortment of sweet and savory treats. We really enjoyed the tea pairing that came with the Valentine's Kit. The scones were delicious, and I particularly loved the jam and butter served with them. When we picked up our order, the staff went over the different items with us and provided a printed menu of our order. I highly recommend this place for a date day with friends and family. There are also some adorable gift shop items at the front of the restaurant. I can't wait to visit again!
I’d like to begin by expressing my surprise at how positive the reviews are. We were quite disappointed with the High Tea experience. It was a special occasion, as I had friends visiting, and we had a similar experience at another venue last year that was far superior. Shockingly, I even had to pay an additional $9.00 for clotted cream. While the sandwiches were decent, the scones and desserts were not acceptable. After reading the reviews, I genuinely wondered if we were talking about the same establishment.
Excellent service, delightful tea, and freshly baked goods made with quality ingredients. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend trying the full afternoon tea experience—we were surprised at how filling it was! We ended up needing to request takeaway boxes, as the portions were more than enough for three people. They also catered to our vegetarian preferences, which was fantastic! The interior was charming and beautifully decorated.
What a lovely experience! My mother and I visited for Easter afternoon tea, and we thoroughly enjoyed the tea and treats. I had the cream caramel, while my mother opted for the nutty fruitcake tea. I highly recommend the nutty fruitcake, but honestly, both were delicious! I would certainly return for a special occasion, and I encourage you to try it with someone special!
Wow! We ordered the take-home Father’s Day tea, and I am absolutely impressed. The selection and quality are outstanding. Everything was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The tea itself was lovely. I couldn't be more thrilled, and it was definitely worth the price! I will definitely be doing this again!
We got high tea for take out and it was super cute! It says enough food for two people but it was more than enough for a snack for me, my husband, and our two very young kids. The food was packaged well and it tasted amazing! We will definitely order again and eventually do a special dine-in day.
Everything is simple, straight forward but done very well. I have tried plenty pastries around town and although they look elegant they never deliver on taste. Queen of Hearts definitely delivered on flavours and texture. For value and execution I would definitely consider this a hidden gem.
