Here is my honest review of Koryo. This place is semi authentic and not the really a Korean style bbq you see in most places. I got their number 6 which is the pork, beef chicken and 4 sides plate. The pros: 1) Food here was pretty decent. 2) The meats are cooked okay the portions they give you are a lot. Some might be bland some are full of flavour. 3) The food is seasoned alright for the most part. 4) Good customer service. I warmly recommend this place over others at the mall. There often is a line up, but it is worth the wait. When I saw that the bins with food were running out, I was concerned I would be stuck with leftovers. Fear not, the staff make fresh batches ofevery dish to order. Having never ordered there before, the staff also took the time to explain the menu in detail. I even hada sample to taste! BBQ was crisp and glazed, just as I had hoped for, and each side was just as tasty. Serving is huge (sharedmeal with someone else). No leftovers and both of us ended up full and satisfied. My personal experience and you'll most likely experience differently. I purchased Option #1 Beef combo with 2 sides. The large section of takeout plate was filled with 2 scoops of steamed rice, the 2 smaller sections one was Glazed Honey Garlic Potato and Glass noodles. The Beef was super thin, tuff, and with ligaments, so it was like eating chewing gum with tooth floss. Flavor was inundated with sesame oil flavor. The amount of meat was paltry, about 5-10% of plate weight (about 5-6 bites). This was my personal experience.
When we went to Fairview recently, my friend bought the #3 (beef and chicken, I think) and made me taste. My taste buds couldn?t believe what I was eating. It was probably the second best thing I?ve put into my mouth. I just had to buy it too even though Ihad already eaten. The food was very well cooked and I had a fair amount of it. Customer service was pretty good too, but evenif it would be bad, the food makes it worth it. Definitely recommend and will come back again!

Fast service, delicious Korean Bimbimbap! It's a rice dish with steamed vegetables, sunny side egg, with option to add beef or shrimps. The sauce is delicious but they need to put more generous amount. They don't serve porc in their menu, which is goodfor halal option dishes. Located at the new District Gourmand at Pointe Claire Fairview Mall.
Wanted to try. Waited 30min in line for a sandwich. When was my turn, they said there is no bread, I had to order something else. Ordered a ?K-Bab?. The meat was good but covered with a lot of burned parts.
Yummy flavours and the meat was well cooked, but my hamburger buns were very burnt. I'm not usually picky but it tasted like charcoal. Garlic potatoes are good as well, but the bun ruined my burger.
