It was surely a right decision to try this shop.Sam was really cheerful and warm welcoming. Koshari, the rice blended with the tangy tomato sauce topped with tiny macaronis was savoury. The crispy caramelized onions added a delightful crunchiness and nutty flavour to the meal. The lentil soup was quite filling but never too heavy nor oily, not salty yet not bland. It was a lovely thing to have in the cold weather.We tried the wrap too but unfortunately we don't have the picture. It was good too but the impact of Koshari was greater. The dessert pastry with nuts make a good ending but it's not recommendable for the people like me wearing braces.. We didn't know how to appreciate the rice pudd...
This was the best Koshari I have ever had. The flavors and ingredients were rich, making it taste very homemade. Every component was cooked perfectly - from the crunchy crispy onions to the melt-in-your-mouth chickpeas and the flavorful lentil rice. The tangy-spicy sauce added the perfect kick. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely try the rice pudding next time I visit!
Yum yum yum! Eating here took me back to the streets of Cairo. Delicious Egyptian food only topped by the awesome hosts and owners. Koshari is a must try dish for everyone. You'll not find better anywhere in Australia. Give the felafels a try at the same time. Fresh out of the cooker, they're amazing. Can't wait to get back to Perth, will be eating here when I do.
Never tried Egyptian food before this but would consider a culinary tour of the country afterwards. Delicious food, ample portions, and some of the friendliest staff in the neighbourhood. You'd be hard pressed find better value in Perth. For just over ten dollars you can get serving that lasts for two dinners and a lunch.

The restaurant has a welcoming staff and offers a diverse selection of Middle Eastern cuisine, including the tasty Egyptian Koshari. They provide both dine-in and takeout options, as well as a selection of soft drinks. The restaurant is located across from Perth Mint. It would be beneficial to lower the prices slightly.
very exotic Egyptian dish and extremely warm chef. we were very hesitant to try out this dish as it was something truly out of this world. However their Chef gave us the honor of sampling his dish which made us come back for more the next day. a must try for sure.
Amazing food and incredible people who work here. They are consistent and I always look forward coming back. I've never had Egyptian food before but I reckon Koshari Zone gave me an exceptional first impression of Egyptian food and their people.
Awesome and authentic Egyptian street food. Best we have eaten outside of Egypt. Loved the taamia, kosheri and rice pudding. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We’ll definitely be back!

This take-away restaurant is very friendly and clean, with a few seats available for dining in. The koshari dish reminded me of my trip to Egypt years ago!
