Split the #3 last night with my wife. One lesson learned, you can't eat it there without buying the crab tool. That being said we took the order home and ate hovering over the counter with plenty of napkins and the proper cracking devices. Second lesson learned, order a second sausage for your leftovers and with the remaining butter soaked crabby potatoes the next day make a delicious breakfast. Sorry I didn't take any pictures but trust me with a yolky egg over the top it was bomb!!! Last lesson, we are usually lemon butter purists which wasn't an option. We went with the garlic parm but next time we'll do the ragin Cajun or try the lemon pepper. Or maybe just plain butter and ask for extra...
Locations apparently in the food cart shops at Happy valley and Beaverton. Need to order an hour before closing just to be sure you can. I’ve seen them cut folks before 7:30 because it takes a while to prepare.I got three drips mix, soooo good, except too salty. Had to rinse some of the salt off at home but overall good. Another complaint, it’s fresh corn season, no need for nasty frozen mushy corn. And no egg. I would’ve given 5 stars but they gotta say when ingredients are missing or out of stock when it is a desirable part of the meal too. Great prices for what you get.
Not so good. The crab was thin and hardly any meat, which I really had to work at getting to. The utensil provided was pretty much useless since it tore up the little meat in the legs. The honey garlic drip tasted of salt and a little garlic and there was so much butter that I got more on myself attempting to get the crab than there was crab to eat. Mine certainly did not look like any of the photos I’ve seen in these reviews. A hard no for me, but my husband liked his lobster. Wish he had ordered that for me instead. This was the Albany Oregon location, not Happy Valley.
Solid place. One of the owner brothers served me and he was awesome. Most food cart people don't reach out and just let you come to them. He was outgoing from the start and was interacting with anyone that walked by and told them to ask if they have any questions... it may be a small thing, but that's what service industries are about and what separate places worth your time and money!! Crab meal was amazing, shrimp were great too. Amazing pop, properly cooked and the Parmesan topping was the right choice
We have passed this place a few time, and decided to try it with some friends. For 60 dollars I received two tiny halves of a soft shelled snow crab. The lobster was great, but if you call yourself a seafood restaurant and don’t know how to identify a soft shell, I have no patience for you, and will not be returning. Educate yourself and your employees on how to serve crab. It is in the literal name of your restaurant. Food: 1
This place is awesome, great staff working the cart and amazing food. We got the rajin Cajun and butter; don't forget to use the lemon! We split it amongst 2 and finished the whole thing; we are fatties though so you might have some leftovers lol. This place beats all the other deals you'll find in Portland for sure! POCs beware tho (and maybe take it to-go) this location is kindaaa the place you get stared at.
Starting out by saying that I would go back! Food was a little too salty for my liking, but otherwise very good. Really great flavor options, I got the Cajun and the lemon pepper. I did not get the extra corn I ordered, although I did notice the corn I did get was a bit overdone. Would recommend not getting it delivered as the sauce spilled in the bag. Portion size was great!
