I went into this kuelap restaurant and they were unfriendly and unaccommodating. they did not change the seafood I wanted, what was ridiculous was the only Peruvian restaurant that does not do this change. the waiter pointed out and said that the type in. the table next to me was the Peruvian owner and that he says no! I ate involuntarily and without pleasure, as I was pressed for a tour I had. I was very dissatisfied and would not return to that.
I have found it hard to find really good food in Medellin so I am skeptical when reading Great reviews. But at Kuelap they are true! Usually the food is overcooked and dry. I had the pescado a lo macho. It had just enough spice...to give it great flavor, the shrimp were cooked just right and the fish was too, even the vegetables were just right. This paired well with a sangria. All in all a great meal for a reasonable price
Had a long business meeting with my partners here, we usually drink and eat for hours. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating they stayed open late for us as they typically close right after lunch hours. Favorite plates the salmon, the green pasta and...the jalea appetizer. Wash it all down with a double pisco sour or multiple.
We are a family of 5 from Canada and visiting Medellin for the first time. We went to this restaurant based on TA recommendations and were not disappointed! Food were great and price was reasonable! Service was fantastic! We loved it! Thank your for serving...us graciously even though it was Xmas eve and close to closing time! Réservez une table maintenant
the arroz chaufa was extremely salty and the ceviche de pescado and ceviche mixto. I spoke to the administrator and suggested how to manage the soy sauce. that was a terror attack against health and likes. pitiful. the worst part. was that the administrator says she could only give a discount for this terrible attack.
Its incredible to have mistakes in the bill, but it's more incredible the attitude of the person in front of the collections. I don't recommend this restaurant because they don't seem people from Medellin that is very good in customer service. For other side, poor...plate presentation vs the photos.
