I finally had the opportunity to visit Kuma's Corner this past weekend! My friends had raved about it, claiming it has the best burger in the Midwest, so I was excited to see for myself. The restaurant features a metal music theme, with walls covered in posters and artwork of metal bands, along with metal music playing softly in the background. Despite the lively music, it wasn't too loud, making it easy to carry on a conversation during dinner. They have an impressive beer selection displayed on a big screen. I had been eagerly anticipating a visit to this restaurant for some time, so it was a great opportunity to stop by on our way to Indiana. As others have noted, the music was quite loud when we arrived, which made it necessary for us to raise our voices to converse. Despite that, I really enjoyed the music selection, even though I didn't recognize any of the songs. The food was delicious—my husband and I shared a burger and fries, and we also ordered macaroni to take home, which reheated nicely. I appreciated the creative names of the burgers and had a great experience overall. I definitely think it's worth a visit. My only wish is that they offered wine, but that’s not a deal-breaker for me.
Can it really get better every time we visit? Yes, it absolutely can! While nothing can quite compare to the original Kuma's on the north side, Schaumburg is a close contender. Our waitress was fantastic, and the food was even better. We began our meal with the buffalo chicken tenders, and honestly, I could make that my main dish—so delicious! They also have one of the best selections of beer I've come across. Truly outstanding. Crusade Burger Bar could take some pointers from them.
The food at Kuma's Corner is fantastic, with generous portions that are hard to finish alone. They offer an extensive selection of beers, and the staff is quick and friendly. The only downside for me was the heavy metal music paired with horror movies playing on the screens—I'm not a fan of the music, though I do appreciate the horror films. I tried the "Slayer" burger, which featured a spicy patty and a hearty helping of fries. Additionally, the restaurant provides free Wi-Fi.

The burgers here are outstanding, and they offer an extensive and unique selection of beers. The ambiance is really appealing, too. If the music gets a bit too loud for your taste, I recommend sitting inside where it’s quieter. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot and a refreshing alternative to more typical restaurants. If you enjoy big burgers paired with delicious fries and cold beer, this is definitely the place for you.
Our bartender was awesome and funny, the food was amazing! The place is cool as hell. Music is awesome. Prices are perfect. As a Chicago transplant I can see why everyone raves about this place! I’ll have to make at least another 10 trips there just to try everything else that I didn’t pick. This place rocks!
The food is fantastic, the music is excellent, and the service is great. Our waitress, Chris, was amazing. Though you might have to wait for a table, anything worthwhile is worth the wait. This place truly makes my heart race with joy!
The food is consistently incredible and the service is excellent. I really appreciate the atmosphere, music, and decor. This is definitely my favorite spot for a burger—there's no one better!
