Located in the courtyard of one of the oldest, but immaculately renovated, buildings from the Middle Ages, situated between a great museum and the city library, this very popular cafe restaurant is known mostly to the natives. Outdoor/indoor seating, the atmosphere of the 16th/17th century, great food, wonderful pastries, excellent service by the owners at reasonable prices offer an incomparable experience to the uninitiated. Since the natives (the regulars keep coming back, it is sometimes hard to find a free table particularly during the lunch hours although there are plenty of tables available. there are cakes and delicious lunch table to approx. 2 pm (a daily changing dish, a suppe and another dish during the week) the service is very friendly and personal, especially the chef mrs. kunz. the location in the antonier house is beautiful, in the summer they can sit in the hof super outside. if the weather is too bad to sit outside, it is unfortunately often too full in the inner, especially on the midday. then book a table in advance.
