Kupel's Bakery - Réservation de table

My boyfriend and I took a drive over to Kupel’s because we heard they had tofu cream cheese! The place is super cute on the outside and was quite busy on the inside which always leads us to believe it’s a great place, and we were not disappointed! I got the jalapeño bagel with chive tofu cream cheese and tomato, and my boyfriend got a poppy seed bagel with chive tofu cream cheese, tomato, and cucumber. We also ordered a couple of bagels and a tub of cream cheese for the next couple of days. I would recommend! For a while, we forgot we were even eating vegan cream cheese! Tip: order ahead so you don’t have to wait in line!!

This restaurant offers a wide selection of bagels. However, the service is the real highlight here, surpassing the food itself. The bagels, while decent, have more of a baked bread taste rather than the authentic flavor one might expect. I would recommend trying the biali instead of the bagels. They simply don’t measure up to true New York-style boiled bagels. Additionally, the vegan cream cheese is on the expensive side; a better option would be to pick up some vegan cream cheese from Trader Joe's just down the block.

Big bagel sandwiches!! We added the Arlington on onion/seed and the Boylston on garlic bagel, both with egg. It was delicious! The Arlington was super fresh with cucumbers and capers, while the Boylston with herbal cream cheese and tomatoes/onion was really delicious. Fortunately, we were here to enjoy the Bagels. We have seen long lines that are partly due to a bit of disorganization when you first go in. Maybe they should find a more rational way to get customers through
