I longed for the fresh ingredients every once in a while at this hole in the wall. I recently visited this local spot. that used to make your food fresh to order.. service was great and the food was impeccable. No Longer....I am saddened to say it has gone down hill.. while they still offer they same menu.. some of the food is prepackaged as in the salad the tomatoes were mulchy and the lettuce turning brown.. the lemon potatoes were microwaved I heard the beeps) and salty .. Spanakopita was cut small in to triangular squares and thin . all served in aluminum take out plates..plastic utensils and no ambience. NONE of it was as it used to be..The female attendant didn't seem as if she wanted...
My colleagues and I, who work at the hospital, ordered delivery from this restaurant. Since it was a group order, we checked their menu on their website. However, the prices listed in the PDF were different from what we were charged when we received the receipt. When I called the restaurant to address the discrepancy, the manager responded with hostility. While the food was enjoyable, the manager's rudeness and unprofessionalism left a bad impression. I won't be ordering from here again.
What happened to this place?! We ordered a cheeseburger deluxe extra well done, it was raw!! Also got a mixed grill platter with pork souvlaki that was pink in the middle, and the gyro meat was ice cold! Everything from the burger, to the meat French fries was DRIPPING in grease, the bottom of the burger bun was soaked! The side salad included in the platter had a half piece of romaine in it! Absolutely disgusting, I will never order from here again! I wish I could post pictures!! ??
Please don’t assume that just because someone is doing Uber pickups, they aren’t a business owner, educated, or accomplished in other ways. I am a small business owner who recently moved to Staten Island, and I occasionally drive for Uber to familiarize myself with the area. When I went into this restaurant for a pickup, the young man told me the bathroom wasn’t working. I could tell he wasn’t being truthful.

I ordered dinner for my coworkers and me at the hospital, but I noticed that the prices listed on the PDF menu from their website were different from what we were charged. When I called the restaurant to address this issue, I was hung up on and treated disrespectfully by the manager. My coworkers and I were very disappointed by the unprofessional behavior of the manager.
The food here is fantastic, and the service is truly exceptional. I highly recommend giving this place a try whenever you get the chance. They offer an excellent menu, and the prices are quite reasonable as well.
Everyone got food poisoned. Not sure if the ingredients were old? The vegetables seemed past their due date and not fresh. Will not be ordering again.
Very very good traditional Greek food. I am blown away by the quality and presentation. This place can go toe to toe with my regular spots in Astoria.
