A lovely little restaurant with a Scottish theme in both the decor and the menu. Service was very friendly. It's good a secluded outdoor garden eating area with a view of the lake. But the food.... was delicious, one of the best meals I've had in a restaurant. I had the beef sausage with onion gravy, chips and vegetables. My partner had steak and it was cooked perfectly. The menu is limited but what they do they do well. Good range of drinks as well. It's on the more expensive side but its still good value for money and definitely worth it.
Once you've been to Kyloe's, you'll go back. The food is lovingly prepared and of high quality. I still rave about the salad today. This is fresh and varied and is served with homemade, still warm bread. The meat was butter tender. I can also recommend the fries and the burger. The apple pie for dessert rounded it all off. The service is friendly and humorous. The harmony in the cooperation between kitchen and service is noticeable. I felt very comfortable and would love to go back.
The visit to Kylos Hilterfingen after a successful day at Lake Thun rounded off the summer evening wonderfully. Despite limited staff and infrastructure, our group (eight people) was served without long waiting times. The menu is relatively limited, but this is positively reflected in the quality of the dishes. The Kylos on Lake Thun is an insider tip and highly recommended for gourmets with a passion for culinary delights.
This place gets 5 stars. Amazing food. Steak was perfect. Prices reasonable for the area. Atmosphere perfect in or out. Service super friendly. Clean , easy parking, view was perfect.
