L & L Hawaiian Barbeque

I understand you are craving chicken katsu or good Hawaiian Mac salad... but the food here is not what you're used to from the main land. Katsu was overcooked, breading on shrimp tasted like old canola oil, and mac salad was slightly different, more bitter. Owner gives 1 side of katsu sauce, but was nice enough to give a 2nd when asked. BBQ chicken. Was ok, but the other BBQ stuff just was different.

Food was perfectly cooked and not over cooked with char burn marks. Service was great. Dude just stood there like a pole as I ordered and payed. Atmosphere has ample seating and parking.

The food is good. Prices ok. Service quick. No plates, cutlery or glasses. You can get everything packaged to take away, but if you want you can consume it on site.

Go hungry. My husband and I shared a meal and we still couldn't eat it all. Good place and great atmosphere.

Nice spot. Very generous portions, BBQ not too sweet, and very kind service.
