I started with the Chicken Escarole soup, which was hot and delicious—perfect for a rainy day. We shared the Calamari appetizer, which even included battered and fried cherry peppers—excellent! My daughter had the Chicken Parmesan, which I found to be tender, juicy, and delicious from the bite I snagged from her plate. I was also very pleased with the greens and beans with sausage, as it satisfied a craving I'd been having for a while. I was so hungry that I completely forgot to take pictures of the calamari and the greens and beans. The bread they served us was from Savoia’s, which is always a treat. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, and I’m definitely planning to come back for dinne...
I went for a last-minute dinner at 9 PM, and they were still open until 10 PM and warmly welcomed us. The service was impressive; everyone from the busboy to the server was friendly and accommodating. The food was quite decent, reminiscent of home cooking, and the portions were generous. They also had a nice selection of both house and seasonal cocktails, along with a great wine list.
I absolutely love this restaurant! The atmosphere is fantastic, and they have the best brick oven pizza in the Rochester area. The drinks are excellent too. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the views while we dined. I highly recommend trying their fresh homemade pasta and the superb prime rib, especially on Saturdays. The chicken dishes and clams casino are also outstanding.
