We started with the Bruschetta and Burrata alla Bella Vita, which was a delicious combination of flavors! For salads, we ordered two Insalata Cesare and two Insalata Primavera, and the candied walnuts were particularly delightful. For our entrees, we had Melanzane alla Parmigiana (the eggplant was tender and paired beautifully with the rich tomato sauce and cheese), Fettuccine alla Vodka con Gamberi (the shrimp was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was heavenly), Linguini e Vongole (absolutely divine!), and Scaloppine di Pollo Marsala (the chicken was tender and the Marsala sauce was excellent). Hands down one of the best; if not the best Italian joints in the city. Most other places where I would call the competition have certain things about them that they are specialized in. Where La Bella Vita specializes in everything they serve. You don't get a great meal and then have something else missing, it's an all-encompassing experience worth seeing again. My only problem is the location, the place is not easy to find, and then it always looks like there is no parking in front because the parking lot is behind the building. But don't stop, this place rocks! We'll go back to Mother's Day. Thanks La Bella Vita for what you do.
Very accommodating for vegetarians! I kept thinking, when you 're here, you 're family because I felt like I was dining at someone 's home rather than a restaurant. The service was stellar and our server was clearly happy with his job. He made us feel very welcome. The food was so delicious! They didn 't use cheap olive oil with the bread and our manicotti was baked to perfection. I can 't wait to go back for some more of those hand-rolled manicotti!!!
What a fantastic venue for a small, intimate wedding reception! We want to extend our gratitude to Eric, the manager, and our waiter Nicky. The evening went off without a hitch, especially considering we organized this event from the center of Iowa, 750 miles away! The food was exquisite; I particularly enjoyed the Chicken Marsala, and the Lasagna was the best I’ve ever tasted. And definitely don’t leave without trying the Limoncello. Thank you!
Our first evening at La Bella Vita felt like a trip back to Italy. The food was exquisite, and we had no complaints whatsoever. The customer service was excellent—attentive and friendly. We will definitely return and look forward to having a place like this in our city and state.
