Their mojitos alone deserve a five-star review! The portion sizes and flavors were excellent. They offer a wide variety of drink options, and the food coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic, with generous portions too. I was surprised by the limited seating inside, which can get a bit cramped quickly, although there are a few tables available outside. We also tried the Tres Leches Cake, which was delightful! I will definitely be back!
This adorable restaurant offers truly fantastic and authentic Latin cuisine. The empanadas are incredibly flaky and buttery—highly recommend trying them! The prices are quite reasonable, but just a heads-up, they do add automatic gratuity to the bill. I've visited many times and look forward to returning! As for parking, I usually use a nearby lot since street parking is limited.
Great food! Unhappy with their inability to make one hot dog for my toddler who hardly eats anything and instead having to get him an $11 2 hot dog meal which of course he hardly ate any of. Also the ridiculous 15% service charge which should just be included in the food prices since you need to tip on top of that anyways.
Stopped by this place during a walk through the Shockhoe Bottom. I am Latino and can tell you you this place is the place to savor true Latino cuisine. I’m not saying the food was bad; it just didn’t feel very authentic. Overall, I found the experience to be just okay. We had some drinks, and I really enjoyed my friend's cocktail. Just for context, I'm Colombian, and my friend is Puerto Rican.
The interior is quite small, and the seating arrangements are not great. We were a group of four adults and a toddler, but we were directed to sit outside in the 90-degree heat. We decided to leave and find another place to eat.
I had the Chopped Cheese,huge as heck lol. My daughter Angel enjoyed her tasty Carnitas tacos,granddaughter enjoyed her cheese pupusa eggs n home fries. Nice spot New York style all the way ?Maria took our orders and was nice
