La Bouche Bistro & Bar

we went to this restaurant due to the good reviews on tripadvisor, but this evening something went wrong. Maybe our expectations were too high, maybe the cook had a bad day or maybe it was because we chose the special festival game dish. I don't know, but we were very disappointed. we had a kind of steak sandwich. the brot was amazingly both burned and cold as well as jammed because of all the meat juice. the sauce on the meat had a strange clumpy texture and no taste at all. the meat was in order, but overall eating left us a really bad taste in the mouth and it was originally our intention to have dessert, but we didn't dare. the atmosphere was nice and the waiter was friendly, so if I ever should go back there, it would be for a drink and no eating.

this should be a French restaurant, but they try to do something more than they are. eating is in order, but some of the courses are kind of tasteless. I was happy about the carpaccio with truffles, but the Scampi main dish did not taste to chili or garlic, it should be roasted. When I asked about chopped chili as a supplement, they said they didn't? That's funny. even when I ordered irish coffey, they said they hadn't seen anyone? a French restaurant without a saw. also funny. but the other family members were pretty happy. personal is very friendly. everything in all is somewhat expensive compared to the good quality.

the restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel staff (intercity Schwerin) and it was a beautiful and short walk. the restaurant itself is in order, we sat in the upper floor and it was something too warm, especially in the leathers. the food was relatiw boring, my partner had a steak that was * in order *, and the rest of us had the truffle noodles that had nothing but noodles and truffles, no taste of anything except the truffles, very little taste. our waiter, sebastian, but was a joy! he was super nice and looked after us :)

we came in five minutes before the kitchen close on a Wednesday night and were greeted with a smile and welcome, and shortly after that our food was served, which had a really high standard. we have got ravioli and beuf bouginion, both is highly recommended. the waiter even took the time to find the perfect wein for me, although we were just before the evening. the service was in order and eating so well that we like to come back.
