La Calleja Tapas - Réserver une table

A true hidden gem.... we initially followed Google maps to try to find this place and although maps directed us to the right spot, we didn't find it at first. A nearby restaurant, when we asked for directions even tried to mislead us by telling the this business doesn't exist anymore, trying to lure us into their restaurant.... when asking to a manager of another a nearby grill restaurant, he pointed to exactly the right spot. This, and a few other cozy restaurants have terraces along a small walking path close to the beach , almost impossible to see from the main street. Has changed owners I think since last time we ate here a couple of years ago and we have had great Tapas lunches here, many times). They didn't have the varied selection of really good Tapas as they used to, hence why I score it lower as that's what we go here for....but the Calamari and the Tuna Salad we had was good. The view and location is good too.

Slow service, not particular friendly, beer wasn’t that cold and came from an adjoining restaurant. Asked for the menu but never received it probably a blessing! On the upside view of crashing waves and reasonably priced.

Lovely setting and food/wine. Really enjoyed ours but everything that came out to other tables looked equally as tasty. Will be back to try different dishes

Only stopped by for a drink, which ended up as mojtos (and nice fruit drink for the boy), All very nicely done, in a great location overlooking the ocean.

Tapas OK, but on our 2nd visit we had the prawns and they were great. Nice place to sit with a drink and people watch.
