This was our first time at La Cambusa. 3 of us had a 6:30 reservation on a Saturday night. We were greeted warmly at the door seated right away. Our table was by the front window, closest to the front door. It's a chilly spot on a cold night! Our waiter was friendly, courteous, professional. We ordered a salad and the polenta as appetizers. Neither was very impressive. The salad dressing was bland (maybe people prefer that but I like a little more vinegar in my dressing) plain black olives didn't do much for it; however the portion was large and there was plenty for the 3 of us to share. I had a 5:30 reservation for two. The food was absolutely wonderful—everything was delicious. The servers were very friendly, but we felt rushed from the moment we sat down. Our server hovered over us, repeatedly asking if we were finished with the bread. At one point, they even took away my appetizer plate with food still on it before I had a chance to finish. Given today's dining prices, I really don't want to feel rushed when I'm out enjoying a nice dinner with my sister. While I must emphasize that the food was fabulous, the service needs to slow down. It was overwhelming to have the server constantly at our table, asking if we were done.
The food and service were exceptional. The waitstaff was extremely friendly and professional. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared, from the bronzino that was expertly filleted at the table to the high-quality espresso that capped off the meal perfectly. Dining here was truly a pleasure!
LaCambusa is consistently wonderful regardless if the dining experience is for 2 people or 30, /we have been there as a couple have had a party of 30, with absolutely no complaints! Wonderful service delicious food! We have followed LaCambusa from Fairlawn, Ridgewood, Garfield now in Wycoff!

Busy Friday night. Obviously, a popular spot. The young server that we had was excellent. There was no rushing. The owner was visible and very much aware and involved with the flow. Understanding that the place was packed would've had an excellent rating if the noise level was reduced 
As always, La Cambusa delivered. Super food and service at a fair price. My sole Francaise with pasta in the same sauce, was excellent. My wife had a seafood dish with Arborio rice and I haven't heard this admitted “foody” rave about a dish like she did, since we were in Italy. Bravo!
We had a special afternoon family celebration and the staff and owner couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodating to our planning and requests. The food and service were excellent. We were so pleased with our experience. I highly recommend this delightful restaurant!
Our party of four dines at La Cambusa frequently because the food is excellent. We have never had a bad meal. The wait staff is attentive and doesn't rush us. My husband will only go to BYO restaurants and this is one of our favorites.

The food was great and the service was excellent. The maitre d' and our waitress, Mariana, were extremely accommodating and professional when we asked to change tables due to proximity to a large dinner group.
