La Caravelle - Réservation de table

This restaurant is well placed in the town, the food was good and the restaurant is well presented and organised. There was a event on when we were there so the restaurant was heavily attended though not nearly full. The service was abysmal - we arrived first with friends and were served absolute last on make do crockery! The food was acceptable, the service was not and the price was very high - complaining often did afford us a litre of house wine on the house though!Also it seems acceptable to allow people to smoke cheap cigars among the diners - outdoors it may be but there were possibly 60 people in the immediate vicinity.

This local restaurant has upped its game.there is a lovely new menu with fresh produce and generous portions . A choice of indoor and outdoor seating and a cocktail bar adds to the atmosphere.The lunchtime menu is changed dailyLook out for the music nights

Recently refurbished bisto serving the french classics, steak frites, fruit de mer , goats chees salad. At lunchtime there is a very fresh self serve buffet which is good value. Hosts very amiable and a games room for children .

Un accueil chaleureux, de la bonne cuisine à des prix raisonnables. Nous avons déjà mangé ici auparavant, malheureusement il a fermé, mais il a maintenant de nouveaux propriétaires, nous leur souhaitons tout le succès possible. Réservez une table maintenant

Petit menu mais choix assez large. Nous étions un grand groupe, les steaks étaient tous bien cuits, mon andouillette assez savoureuse, les autres plats pas mal. Prix correct pour une cuisine correcte.

I used to avoid this restaurant under the old ownership, now cant stay away. I visit each month and always eat here, Good service, Great choice on menu, Not over priced.
