La Citadelle - Réserver une table

We stopped there for coffee during the morning and sat outside. The man who served us was friendly and the coffee was delicious. But, when we returned at lunchtime for crepes it was very different. First of all I accept that they were really busy but the table we were given was next to a servery where they prepare desserts. It was not very hygienic. Bread and cream was left out, alongside used bottles and cleaning cloths. We were served fairly quickly in all fairness, but however busy you are, you cannot let standards slide. WOW What a way to spend a day. This place is beautiful with an intriguing history and an intriguing history before the natural harbour became silted. This town is full of culture, and lovely shops and cafes. Well worth a visit when in the area.
