We have visited La Collina twice in the last 6 years. The first visit was prior to the name change just after the new owners purchased the business. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. I had hoped that after several years, there would have been improvements since their purchase. The hostess was kind and offered to take our coats, which was a hospitable gesture. However, when we were leaving, the hostess was not available, and we had to ask other staff members about our coats. I ended up having to walk to the back of the restaurant to retrieve our coats, which were hanging up by a rear entrance. Our martinis were only 2/3 full, and my drink was prepared incorrectly, so I had to send it back....
I visited this restaurant for the first time after receiving several high recommendations. The food was excellent, but unfortunately, the service was the worst I've experienced in a fine dining setting. Our waiter, Christian, did not seem well-suited for his role. He introduced himself when we first sat down, but we didn't see him again for 20 minutes. It took 28 minutes after our arrival to receive our drink order. When he finally returned to share the specials, we couldn’t hear him clearly and when we asked him to repeat himself, we still weren’t aware of what the specials were. After finally being seated, it took over an hour for our food to arrive, and we had only ordered a Caesar salad. Our server apologized several times for the delay and assured us that the manager would come and speak with us, but that never happened. We ended up spending over $200 between drinks and our meal, yet the treatment we received was far from satisfactory. It was clear that regular customers received preferential treatment.
I hope the new steakhouse opening next door will motivate them to address their service issues. In hindsight, I wish we had just stayed at the bar. I anticipate a defensive reply from the owner or manager, but it’s crucial they tackle these problems.
Booking a table at this restaurant can be quite difficult, so I strongly recommend making a reservation in advance. However, the wait is absolutely worth it. The service is excellent, and the bartender is both generous and knowledgeable about cocktails. As a regular patron who lives nearby, I can vouch for the quality of everything on the menu. My personal favorite is the veal chop. One of the highlights of La Collina is their impressive wine selection. While it may not be extensive, every bottle they offer is exceptional and distinctive. These are wines that are not commonly found in other restaurants. I highly recommend this place, just don’t forget to make a reservation!

I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! The food was outstanding, and our server, Adele, was incredibly kind and provided excellent dinner suggestions. She even picked out my meal for me, and it was the best choice I could have made! Even though we left feeling stuffed from both our main dishes and dessert, we are definitely planning to return soon. I would give the service, food, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5. Expect to spend between $50 and $100 per person for dinner.
Hands down the best restaurant around! The food is always on point. The owner made me an amazing strawberry margarita, and the breaded lemon chicken is delicious! This was our first visit, and we had an amazing experience. The food was exceptional, reminiscent of what we've enjoyed in Italy. Our waiter, Fabio, truly made the evening special.
