La Conviviale - Réserver une table

I almost never leave reviews for anything (laziness) but I came onto the site just to check the address of this place (we visited two days ago) to tell friends, and saw there was only one review and it totally damned the place so I felt moved to add my comments. The service was amiable and smiley (not the norm in France), the pizzas arrived within about 5 minutes of being ordered and they were fantastic. Ok, a pizza is a pizza, but we are snobs when it comes to these things and BOTH of us remarked upon the quality of the food. Pizza Express in the UK is our quality threshold and this place bettered them. We had two huge pizzas (almost unfinishable), a 50cl pichet of rose and two coffees - total cost 27 euros. Maybe we caught them on a good night (and the other reviewer on a bad night?) but they were kept going with takeaway orders and one other couple was dining so it seemed a normal evening. Oh, and it was 9pm when we arrived (and a Sunday), and we were still received warmly, which is almost unheard of in rural France. Thoroughly recommended on all fronts. PS - the pizzas were so good I even took a photo of them (I photograph lots of stuff!), with no intention of doing anything with the photo - I'm glad I did now, so have a look for yourself.

I almost never leave reviews for everything (laziness, but I came to the website just to check the address of this site (we visited two days ago to say friends, and saw that there was only one review and there was totally damned the place, so I...felt moved to add my comments. the service was laborious and smiling (not the norm in frankreich, the pizzas came about about 5 minutes and they were fantastic. ok, a pizza is a pizza, but we are snobs when it comes to this dinge and the bth of us pointed to the quality of the food. pizza express in Great Britain is our quality threshold and this place has improved it. we had two huge pizzas (almost unfinishishable, a 50cl pichet of rose and two coffees total cost 27 euro. Maybe we caught them in a good night (and the other reviewer in a bad night? but they were continued with tear-out orders and another couple was to eat, so it seemed a normal evening. oh, and it was 9 o'clock when we arrived (and a Sunday, and we were still warmly welcomed what is almost unheard in rural France. very recommended on all fronts. ps the pizzas were so good I even made a photo of them (I photographed a lot of witness! , without intention to do something with the photo, I am glad that I now, so have a look for yourself.

Nous sommes allés là-bas en vacances, avons dépassé la pizzeria et nous nous sommes arrêtés. J'ai commandé par erreur la mauvaise pizza pour mon fils, avec des champignons. Ils l'ont immédiatement remplacée sans me demander (c'était de ma faute) et lui ont donné la bonne pizza gratuitement. C'est un bon service pour les enfants. La pizza est arrivée rapidement et était bonne, comparée à mon domicile, elles étaient bon marché. Le choix était vaste et quelque chose de très spécial, comme le poulet à l'ananas et au miel. Je recommanderais d'y aller.

S'il vous plaît, allez-y uniquement pour l'impolitesse, et faites des grimaces et criez avec les enfants. Il n'est pas permis de partager avec les autres. Il faut avoir des chaussures propres et si on les enlève à la porte, ce n'est pas non plus permis. La pizza est terrible. Trop cher. Et maussade dans une région où la nourriture est presque toujours fantastique. J'habite à proximité et je n'aimerais jamais y retourner.

Please go just for the rudeness, and the face pulling and the shouting at children. Not allowed to share your food with anyone else. Must have clean shoes and if you take them off at the door - thats not allowed too. Pizza awful. Overpriced and glum in a region where the food is nearly always fantastic. I live nearby and would gladly never go again.
