La Coupole - Réserver une table

We are back in the area again this summer and after walking around the Sunday Market at the port decided to grab lunch. I had the moules frites and my wife had the fish special, we had no problems with the service( we have lived in France for a few years now and like the more relaxed approach) the moules were fresh could have done with a little more garlic for my taste but that's personal. All in all lunch and drinks for 2 for under 40 euro

We went there after the morning at the beach and had the menu at 20euros for entrée main and dessert. The entrées were small but fine but the meat platter was pretty average and the paté was disgusting. My main was paella and that certainly wasn't fresh and the chicken tasted old. The rest of my family had modules frites and the mussels were dry and a lot of shells were empty with average fries. Service was slow but friendly

Night-time. Restaurant was very busy - good buzz. Looked promising. Service was fine - one paella - most of the mussel shells were empty and the mussels had not fallen into the paella! 1 bolognaise - very stodgy; 1 kangeroo (I know, I know!) - shoe leather; 1 chicken with mushroom and cream sauce - chicken could have been anything! Skipped desert and left.

We went a little earlier than most people eat so easily got a nice table. My chicken wasn't the best but was nice. But my husband and sons had homemade beef burgers and all said how good they was. My daughter enjoyed her meal tooWould recommend

Très déçu par ce restaurant malgré son cadre magnifique. Pizza sèche et très peu garnie. Desserts plus que moyens. Et plus de 4 euros pour un simple...
