Nous avons appelé ici après une visite au château. Nous avons choisi après avoir lu des critiques qui reflétaient assez bien notre expérience. C'était une belle journée alors nous nous sommes assis dehors. Il y avait pas mal de tables occupées même si nous n'avions pas réservé. L'accueil était chaleureux et le service était excellent tout au long de notre visite. Nous avons pris une bavette et un cheeseburger maison. Les deux étaient très bien cuits et présentés. Mon burger était le meilleur que j'ai eu depuis un moment. La bavette était cuite exactement comme ma femme l'avait demandé. Elle a terminé avec une crème brûlée qui était apparemment très bonne. We popped in here for lunch after a visit to the Chateau at Castelnaud. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table in the courtyard, the waitress was very patient with all our questions about the menu. My husband and I had the bruschetta...which was beautifully cooked and very flavoursome. One of our children had nuggets and chips, the other a burger...again both excellent quality, tasty and very generous portions. The children had ice cream to finish, the waitress brought them up to the fridge so they could choose which. We found the price very reasonable, the staff excellent and the food top quality. We would, without hesitation return to this restaurant.
Après avoir rêvé de l'étonnant château de château, nous étions prêts pour une boisson froide. Nous ne nous attendions pas à commander le déjeuner, mais si d'autres diners commandent aller pst nous ne pouvions pas résister! le canard avec sauce champignon, patate crémeuse et salade verte était absolument délicieux! le beau propriétaire/serveur a recommandé le gâteau de noix avec la crème fouettée et la sauce caramel qui était excellent. Sa femme est le cuisinier. Tout ce que je peux dire c'est wow! Nous étions si pleins que nous ne pouvions pas monter la colline au parking et nous avons parlé de notre délicieux repas toute la journée!
J'ai fait une pause déjeuner tardive ici. Quelle nourriture délicieuse ! Nous avons dévoré le canard et le filet tellement rapidement - le canard est incontournable. Nous avons également pris des spaghettis à la sauce crémeuse au fromage de chèvre - un régal. Notre serveur s'est vraiment bien occupé de nous...très attentif, a été d'une grande aide avec le menu et a pris des initiatives pour occuper les enfants.
What a lovely find food was just as it says on the tin a large group of us ate lunch on one visit and dinner on another we found it all well above the norm for this type of dining all food came hot tasty...and well served and the staff very friendly nothing was too much trouble also great for kids and not expensive well done worth every penny or sorry cent
This is the fourth year that we have returned to this wonderful restaurant which is set very close to the Chateau at Castelnaud. We have never been disappointed with the food, drinks or service. I can recommend the Chicken salad and the bruschetta. The waiting...staff are friendly and helpful and the food is always fresh and delicious.
Trois d'entre nous avons apprécié ce petit restaurant. La nourriture était excellente et moi, en tant que végétarienne, je suis difficile à satisfaire ! Le service était excellent avec un serveur compétent et parlant avec aisance. Non seulement compétent, mais aussi sympathique.
