La Creperie Des Forges

After almost 2 weeks in France and not having had a single crepe we decided to try this little gem on a recommendation by the tourism office in Josselin. We are so glad we did. Even the people who had been certain that crepes just weren't for them were bowled over by these amazing creations served in the most idyllic setting in the shade of huge trees on the bank of the canal. This was a highlight of our trip. The service was wonderfully friendly. Don't miss a visit to this very special place. Make sure you make space for a dessert crepe as well, the selection is mouthwatering.

La nourriture est délicieuse (les meilleures galettes que j'ai eues dans toute la Bretagne), le service impeccable et le cadre charmant. Nous y sommes allés en famille et avons passé un magnifique déjeuner dominical. Nous avons tellement aimé que nous y sommes retournés deux semaines de suite! Je recommande de réserver une table car c'est très populaire et on comprend pourquoi. Ils célèbrent leur 10e anniversaire cette année et espérons qu'ils seront encore là pour de nombreuses années. Absolument remarquable! Bravo!

Housed in a converted mill beside the Nantes Brest canal, serving crepes and gallettes with a varied menu. Open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and in the evenings, July and August open 7 days a week. Licensed and free WI FI available. families welcomed with picnic tables by the canal, this place is in a beautiful tranquil setting off the beaten track but signposted from Les Forges and Pleugriffet just off the Josselin to Pontivy road. Excellent friendly service.

I wish I lived nearer than Scotland! I've been here a number of times now over the last few years. Without doubt every visit the service and food are both excellent.The range on offer is varied and they're happy to add or remove items to customise your order. It's fresh, hot and tastes wonderful.The cider's really good too!If you're in the area definitely make this a must visit restaurant, trust me, you won't be disappointed. And you'll want to return! We love this little creperie. There are a good number of savoury or sweet and it's worth going here for just a pudding as the ice creams are delicious. What we really liked the most though was just how sweet the staff were. They were smiley, friendly and warm and we had a tremendously fun evening.

We always have a meal here when we are in Josselin. Food is freshly prepared and there is always a good choice. The view of the river is delightful, and the restored mill is full of character. The childrens' play area is a nice touch.

First time but not the last, this is a must if you like/love crepes the owners are friendly and attentive the building and interior are superb. The food a must. If you are in the region it is a must!!!????????????

By far, the best crepes we have ever eaten. This is our 3rd time in Bretagne, and we have eaten lots of them! You should go there!

La soirée où nous étions à La Forge (mardi), il n'y avait pas de pizza, ce qui était décevant mais pas tragique.
