This restaurant is located in the heart of St-Prex, a beautiful village along Lake Leman. Founded more than 50 years ago, this restaurant has kept the same menu ever since. Pick some meat or fish, and it will some come fries and a green salad. If you choose to order a side dish such as carrots, you will get a carrot sliced in circles and served in a metal bowl. Unfortunately, this is Swiss food engineered to be served with minimum effort. It has no soul, no taste, and no originality whatsoever. Make sure to include a drink with your order, otherwise they will rip you off another 1.50 CHF per person for the tap water.
The best perch fillets we have ever tasted! We go back there very regularly, we always get the perch fillets and we never get tired of them! The home fries are in principle very good just 1 or 2x where they were a little soft and undercooked.. Edit on 17.11.20: is it true that we will have to give up on the best perch fillets by December 31? Rumor is circulating that the owner of the premises refused to renew your lease to transform the premises into apartments?
We went to this restaurant by accident. We just traveled along the lake and stopped at Saint-Prex, a pretty village next to Morges. It was lunchtime on a working day. The restaurant was full. Fillet de perche was exceptional and the service was attentive and fast. Prices are like everywhere around Lake Leman. We will gladly go again if we find ourselves somewhere nearby.
If you want to eat the best filets de perches in the region then this is the place to go. Recipe has been handed on from owner tones owner and the staff are always really welcoming. There is also a really great terrace in the summer. Enjoy!

Specialties Perch fillets and frog legs A la carte dishes served without any accompaniment. Everything is charged extra (no fries) The attitude disappointed us and therefore the result too, which does not seem to matter to the management.
Right in the magnificent historic center of St-Préx, Croix Federal is a quiet town restaurant with simple and warm welcoming dinning rooms, great food and a staff to match! You won't be disappointed!
A local joint, the proprietor gave me recommendations to eat and we weren't disappointed. I ate the beef carpaccio and it was delicious.
Regrettably rude owners and staff. Put extras on the bill that we did not order then argue with us about it and got very aggressive.
