Looking in Trip Advisor for a restaurant in Walenstadt off season I thought would be difficult! Grant it there was only one, so we decided to give it a go. Easy to find with lots of parking around! The restaurant if of ample size, clean, fresh looking with an LCD showing the best of Italy. The waiter was prompt, friendly and explained the menu well (as I don't speak German!). We got the curry risotto, and the ravioli, both were delicious, homemade, and very very tasty. We got a bottle of white, and a coffee, and it came to 80 Swiss Francs. On the way to Klosters we stopped over at this small village to have lunch. The most famous one was closed on Sunday. So we went to this Italian restaurant. A big surprise! We ate so well - home-made ravioli with herb (sage) and deep-fried seafood (prawn and calamari). The price was very reasonable, 23 SFr and 25 SFr respectively. It is really worth stopping over at this village and visiting this restaurant when driving to canton Grisons (Graubünden). Alternatively, all kinds of pasta and pizzas are also available there.
