We used to love this place for their carnitas, but something has changed and not for the better. My husband has been coming here for over 50 years, and I have been coming for the last six since he introduced me. It used to be consistent and delicious. However, two weeks ago we brought a guest from the city on a Friday night, promising them the best carnitas ever. It was embarrassing when the plate of carnitas arrived for three people. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is very polite. You can feel the authenticity of the people and I love the theme of the place. My favorite part was the chairs, they were very comfortable since I stayed there for a few hours. I had the enchiladas with eggs and beans, which were not spicy at all. My kids had the carne asada tacos and loved them. The hot chocolate was amazing. Overall, it was a good experience.

The restaurant has a large Mexican atmosphere and the ham omelette is delicious. The carnitas quesadilla is enormous, big enough for two adults. The pozole is both well-served and tasty. The staff is friendly and willing to help. One downside is that they don't open until 8:00, which may be a little late for breakfast.

Pro’s: great Mexican atmosphere ham omelette is tasty Carnitas’ Quesadilla is huge (good enough for two adults) pozole is well served and delicious staff is friendly and willing to help you Cons: they open at 8:00 am. A little bit late for a breakfast.
