The tortellini arrived far too quickly—within just two minutes of ordering. It had a taste of burnt garlic, and the pasta was dry and hard. We also ordered the pasta frutti di mare and the wild boar. The pasta was decent, with the shrimp being the standout—well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. The scallop was large but rather bland, and the pasta itself was overly seasoned. Just like the tortellini, the sauce tasted of burnt garlic. For the wild boar, I ordered it medium rare but received it more well-done. It was the best tasting dish of the night, but the garlic sauce accompanying it also had that burnt flavor. It was a lovely touch for the restaurant to bring me a plate of sampler desser...
However, the experience had its drawbacks; the crème brûlée, unfortunately, was overcooked, disappointing what could have been a perfect ending to the meal. While the prices lean towards the higher side—especially for the region—it’s worth noting that the restaurant rewards those willing to make the journey for something unique. Do keep in mind, it’s best to drive yourself rather than rely on rideshare. In densely populated areas, you can find quality cuisine too, but here, if you’re in the mood to explore different flavors, this destination is worth the trip. Pleasant lunch today. This was our first time visiting here. We decided to partake in their Sunday brunch. The brunch platter was immensely enjoyed! We started with the poached lobster appetizer beforehand and it was delicious too! They serve a good bread service as well. For entrees, my wife shared the rack of lamb with her mother and I had the veal. Both were good. We finished with the delicious Grand Marnier soufflé. They have a superior selection of wines by the glass. Service was sufficient, and relaxed. The ambiance is quite serene. We sat inside, though their outside patio looks lovely too.
We had an amazing dining experience. I highly recommend the outdoor seating, as the ambiance was lovely and tranquil. The sounds of the creek, along with the chirping of birds and crickets in the trees, added to the charm. We opted for the six-course tasting menu and also ordered two mushroom soups and the beef entree. Every dish was absolutely delicious. Our server was exceptional as well. Not our first time but this time we were disappointed. The ahi tuna was ok but too much pepper , and the quail was grate as usual for mains the rack of lamb was not flavourful at all and the elk was way to salty for some reason the crème brûlée was a little burnt.
