La Galettiere - Réserver une table

I think this place deserves a higher rating than it seems to be receiving here. OK I'm not a connaisseur of crepes, but I thought they were pretty good here. Good choice, price fine, service good and quick. I was in town for business and ate here two nights running. And had the same meal: bacon, spinach etc crepe, washed down with a Leffe Blond, followed by chocolate ice cream and coffee. So I'm a creature of habit. Around 23 euros. And it was very nice. Twice. Admittedly it was Tuesday and Wednesday evenings that I was here, but the place was pretty quiet. Not buzzing. But then the entire town seemed pretty quiet, so it's probably doing well to stay open those evenings.I would come again. And I would bring my 7 year old. He'd love it.

We had lunch here on a hot day after visiting the cathedral. Nice to have a few vegetarian possibilities, like a galette called PopEye. Mine (Forestiere) with lots of mushrooms, was fresh and too large to finish. A carafe of rose, then icecreams. In a pleasant environment very close to the cathedral and- after a few slightly Brexit moments - very friendly service. The bill: 26 euro.

Le serveur a fait de son mieux pour une salle pleine, mais il était débordé. Dommage qu'il était tout seul cependant. La nourriture était EXCELLENTE.

Excellent restaurant de galettes bretonnes à Soissons avec une équipe chaleureuse.
