"On the downside, the restaurant is cash only (there's an ATM across the street), the service can be a bit slow (though very friendly), the dining area is quite small, and the decor could definitely use some improvement."

Small place but good. Waitress was pleasant and pointed and may very well have been cooking a portion of the meal, but I cannot be certain. ; I ordered the signature dish which is what the restaurant is named after (or visa versa , 'La Guadalupana '. This $13 dish is described as coming with chicken, pork, cactus and flautas (it doesn 't mention which type of flautas on the menu but chicken flautas was served to me. Rice, beans (black , and guacamole is presented on the plate along with a garnish of pico de gallo, fresh sliced tomatoes and fresh pieces of crispy lettuce topped with a single ring of onion. Before ordering, the waitress brought chips and salsa to my table and asked if I would...

I saw someone ask if this place had closed, and I'm happy to report they have not. There were apparently down for a few days replacing the floor, but all is open and well again. For this visit I placed a take out order. Huevos Rancheros, Chicken and Toungue (Yay! tacos, and guacamole. Twenty minutes I was told, just enough time to finish up what I was doing and head over. The Huevos were delicious, some of the best I've had in a while. The eggs were fried over hard, and I would have preferred them sunnyside and soft, but that's my ordering mistake and not their cooking mistake. The portion was so large I couldn't eat the tacos. so I saved them for later. The eggs and tortillas were smothered...

If you are expecting that **** they serve in Texass you 'll be sorely disappointed with the authentic Mexican food they serve here. And that is the key to this place. Authentic Mexican. On one visit I witnessed Barbie McWasp complaining that they were making the food wrong. This is truly a mom/pop joint. They are from Mexico. That means you 'll get Mexican food. It also means that they don 't speak English very well. The waitress is very friendly but you 'd do well to have a mobile device to look up what some menu items are. When you order a quesadilla in Dalass even at the so called good places or nationwide TexMess chains they grab commercial premade tortillas , dump some longhorn cheese o...

Nice family own joint. Me and some friends came almost after hours and they were smoking the meats for the next day and casually kept the restaurant opened for more people to come in even though it was after hours . They served us this fried soft taco with red and green sauce that was good. Portions were big. I ordered a lengua burrito. Can 't say it was my favorite, the meat was chopped up really small, overall it looked like a wrap more than a burrito but tasted very good. My friends chicken enchilada in red sauce looked bomb though and he said it was one of the best enchiladas he 's had. I also tasted the chile verde, sauce was tasty, beans were yummy, portions were big. They also have th... Réservez une table maintenant

You will not be impressed by the decor. You will not be happy that all your clothes smell like tacos when you leave. You will not be entertained by the telenovelas on the TV. All that aside, You WILL like this place if you have been looking for authentic Mexican food in South Jersey. This place is legit. No frills. Nothing fancy, just good food. We went with the chorizo tacos and the carnitas tacos to share. The meat was excellent and the spices and garnish were just delicious. Beware the green and red hot sauces they bring out are really hot. The fried tortilla appetizer was a nice touch as well. Price was it was very reasonable given the amount of food you get. Service wise, it was a littl...

LG reopened on July 18, and the restaurant looks fresh with its newly painted walls. The menu remains the same, and we are delighted to see them back after a five-month hiatus. LG is a charming little Mexican restaurant known for its excellent cuisine. The owner's service is laid-back and friendly. This is our go-to spot for authentic Mexican meals and great conversations. The atmosphere is typically quiet, and there’s almost always a table available. If you’re looking for delicious food at fantastic prices and don’t mind a more relaxed approach compared to standard American service, this place is a hidden gem. Please note that they only accept cash, and it’s a BYO establishment. They don’t...

While this place may not be upscale, it definitely has the charm of a family-run business. Expect to leave with the delightful aroma of tacos lingering on you, but you definitely won't regret your visit. For just $10, you can enjoy four homemade tacos, and trust me, every bite is a treat. I relished each unique taco and am already looking forward to my next visit. Their menu goes beyond just tacos, as you can see in some of the photos on Yelp, but I can assure you that everything is authentically made. They offer delicious Mexican sodas in the fridge and only sell bottled water. Their cafe con leche is particularly special—it's a warm and comforting drink that perfectly complements the heart...

Being Mexican and from Los Angeles this place should really be a 3, but the food is good and it's BYOB so that gets it a 4. There was a misinterpretation of my order, I was going big with 6 tacos, they sell them in 3s at $7.50 a set, you are only allowed to chose one meat. So the misinterpretation was they gave me 9. But when God gives you lemons... You run to store and get beer to go with them. So I got 3 chorizo, 3 asada and 3 al pastor. The meat quality was on point, they also low carb it with 1 tortilla rather than the 2 you get in the west coast. So where they went wrong? They didn't bring the heat I asked for hotter sauce, their green salsa is fantastic but it's like making out with yo... Réservez une table maintenant

I realize I just came from Texas where good authentic Mexican food was just around every corner, but I was not impressed Guadalupana. There were loads and loads ...and loads of food to choose from on their menu but no corn for an elote? But I digress, my husband got the chicken mole enchiladas and was surprisingly satisfied. I on the other hand found them bland and tasteless. I ordered the chicken tacos which I ate dry because the only thing available was a hot hot sauce-like salsa. What happened to the green sauce? Pico de gallo? Did I mention they were Ca$h ONLY?! Wow! Can you please post a sign at the entrance! Maybe put a statement in the menu so customers are aware before they order, ea...
