Food is authentic and fresh! Delicious burritos (what I got) and the taco bowls were yummy and beautiful. Everything we got we were blown away by! Including vegan options. Family owned and operated which I adore and they gave our family two cucumbers for free out of their garden, how sweet. Will be back every chance I'm in town! Thank you for everything!!! They have excilent service and you can tell if you meet them that they have passion for what they do. Last time I was there I had a chance to see how they would deal with a group of rude young adults that seemed to come there only to lecture them on how a restaurant works and to complain about everything in sight. Those customers that day where rude and hostile and the two employees on shift handled it like profesionals. If the owner gets a chance to read this review I hope they realise that they are making it. Keep up the great work everyone at Restaurant La Jarochita!

Ordered take out for lunch for 5 guests. Everyone tried something different and we all really enjoyed our meals. 1 guest was vegan and the taco salad bowl was perfect. All of the food was made fresh to order (authentic family recipes) and the family is lovely!! Highly recommend! Delicious food, friendly people and such a pleasant surprise to have authentic Mexican food seemingly out of the way in rural Maryland near the PA border. I had the Lengua Taco. The meat was soft and flavorful, while my dad had the vegetarian burrito. Unlike many other places, he loved that the onions and peppers were beautifully cooked and seasoned. The salsa verde was a nice match for the tortilla chips. Would love to come back! Réservez une table maintenant

Just moved to town and tried La Jarochita for the first time tonight. The food is delicious and the woman working up front was very pleasant. We will definitely be back!
