I had a short trip to Deidesheim and wanted to invite a long time friend to a nice dinner. Four+ hours and countless courses later we both agreed it was one of the best meals, if not THE best of our life. The service and hospitality...were beyond compare. Everyone was so nice and even put up with my horrible German. Unlike some high end restaurants where there is a wall between the servers and diners, it felt very comfortable gemütlich at our table. Very nice culinary pleasure. The dishes were very good and the cook was so friendly to create a vegetarian menu so that I can keep from the number of courses with my companions. None of the defensive gangs have knocked me out. The non-vegetarian menu included many different animal species, including the endangered blue fins. Ib that must be, is certainly a matter of taste. Star cuisine in absolute perfection! Otherwise, I cannot describe our experience! Daniel Schimkowitsch and his team conjure unusual creations on the plates, and each plate is the perfect blend of taste, texture and appearance. My wife and I enjoyed a 5 course menu there, and every walk and the 3 greetings from the kitchen were just a dream. The summary first: it was fantastic again! Why the restaurant has not yet received a second Michelin star is not comprehensible. The Gault Millau continues: 18/20 points are absolutely justified. The menu with many interesting Asian products was very well matched to each other, the wine tasting was very good, only the sommelier seemed a bit stressed and has prayed the explanations quite quickly. The atmosphere is very pleasant - not least thanks to the successful lighting. I had a very nice evening at L.A. Jordan. The service was very accommodating. There is a very nice wine card and the food was fantastic. The ingredients and preparation were very high. I was completely satisfied and it will certainly not be the last time I'll eat there. I'm looking forward to it now. I can only recommend the restaurant. Thanks to the chef and his entire team as well as to the service for the beautiful evening.
who would have thought: a time-honored weingut is one of the best restaurants in Germany! extremely chic and tastefully furnished rooms in the next building of the ketschauer hof, a few very discreetly furnished tables, a menu that does not belong to a carefree and friendly staff....Wow, that was a perfect evening! and when we have again happy and the terrace is open.
We enjoyed the surprise menu yesterday and were very foul. The service was also attentive and provided a feel-good atmosphere. But why the table decoration is made of plastic flowers, I cannot understand the best will. Otherwise a really great evening. Corona rules don't interest anyone. No proof of interior gastronomy required
