Its a cozy little restaurant but the foods is TRULY spectacular. The green salsa enchiladas verde are amazing every single time, the spicy red salsa is hot and delicious and the chips are so so so good. The food you can tell is made carefully with attention to detail and flavor. It's not fancy its homestyle and truly spectacularly amazingly delicious. Highly recommend!
The food was dry and lacked flavor. There were no sauces provided for the tacos or flautas. The chicken in the flautas was tough and rubbery. What frustrated me the most was the horchata. I ordered three, and it tasted like water with sugar. Everyone was let down by their meals! I felt terrible about the experience. I won't be returning!
I attempted to reach a manager or the owner by phone, but I was hung up on twice. I wasn't calling due to any issues with service, but after being disconnected like that, I am unlikely to support this business moving forward.
Burrito: 5/10 (Don't request tongue; it seems to be quite pricey since they only have four pieces available?) Fajitas: 3/10 (Tasteless...) They forgot to include cutlery and napkins in the bag. Réservez une table maintenant
I call the waitress over to inform her that the table was dirty and sticky. And all she did was stare at me and says, there's nothing I can do for you.
I have been to all the local Mexican food places in the area and none can compare to La Malinche. The food is always extraordinary delicious.
