Noisy bar directly adjacent to the restaurant. Lot of local (drunk) youngsters in the bar. No owner or head of staff in the house ! The restaurant bar is served by only two employees. Because of this 2 persons a very long waiting for aperitifs, drinks and finally the food. This was the case with every table. More than two hours in the restaurant for a simple meal. second visit in two years but this was the last time. Enough alternative in the neighborhood. The restaurant and bar is insufficiently run.

Roadside wonder. They had a tofu with blueberry marmalade dish accompanied by grilled veggies for my vegetarian sweetheart and salmon with sweet potatoes purée for me. All washed down with a local El Nispero chilled white wine from Garafia; a white local varietal called Abillo, a white wine reminiscent of oak aged California Chardonnay. Stop in for the outside dining you won’t be disappointed

We had the garlic prawns for starter, which were an absolute show stopper. Would definitely order those again. My partner had the rabbit, which was very nice. I had the fried squid, which was a bit chewy and not tender but definitely edible. The almond ice cream for dessert was delicious and the sangria very nice.

Use to be my favourite restaurant in La Palma. Change in management means that the food has lost its athencity even though they have retained some of the items in the menu. The food tastes dull where once spices and flavours ruled the dishes. Service was very good, however dishes lack authenticity and flavour.
