"While only staying for one night two rooms, we fully enjoyed the best of what this simple yet timeless hilltop hotel has to offer: breathtaking views, absolute relaxation, spacious grounds, chilled ambiance, welcoming Team, nice pool, comfortable rooms (air conditioning, balcony, bedding, shower, wifi) we unfortunately did not have the opportunity to dine at their restaurant as we had an offsite commitment, however the outdoor terrace was beautifully set and the menu looked tantalizing. A very pleasant experience!"

Hautement recommandé. Un repas vraiment agréable où le chef s'intéresse à concocter des sauces riches en saveurs pour accompagner des ingrédients simplement cuisinés. Pas de décoration à la mode et éphémère dans les assiettes ici même si la présentation était séduisante. La nourriture était la chose et ses saveurs bien assemblées étaient un délice. Peut-être pas de contrastes de textures et de couleurs dans l'assiette des plus beaux restaurants étoilés mais des plats de grande qualité offrant un très bon rapport qualité-prix, voire bon marché. Highly recommended.A really enjoyable meal where the chef's interest is in concocting richly flavoured sauces to complement the simply cooked ingredients. No fashionably ephemeral decoration to the plates here though the presentation was attractive. The food was the thing and its well put together flavours were a delight. Perhaps no contrasts in texture and colour on the plate of the very finest starred restaurants but the high quality dishes offered very good value if not cheap.A la Carte or a choice of set menus. Un dimanche après-midi, vous avez envie d'être au calme dans un bel environnement propre, frais et neuf, décoré de sculptures rustiques et malheureusement de fausses étagères, une serveuse discrète à votre écoute, des repas délicieux, un maître de cérémonie un peu fatigué d'un restaurant complet. Samedi après-midi, juste ce dont vous avez besoin, une possibilité de baignade, des vignobles et des paysages vallonnés spectaculaires. Vous ne pouvez pas manquer cette station et la garder pour vous comme un secret de famille des joyaux de la couronne. Je recommanderais que les prix restent stables, pour continuer à avoir des locaux moins fous, et qui gardent le terroir authentique malgré un esprit...
On a Sunday afternoon you want to be quiet in a beautiful clean fresh and new environment, decorated with rustique sculptures and unfortunately fake bookshelves, a discrete waitress for your own attention, meals to delight, a Master of ceremony a bit tired from a fully booked Saturday PM then just what you need of care, a swimming opportunity and a wine yards plus hilly spectacular scenery - then you can't miss this resort and keep it for you as a Crown Jewels family secret.I woul recommend price to be kept stable, to keep getting locals who are less lunatics, and who keep the terroir authentically in spite of a slightly gossip spirit.
