for several years we have been regularly on summer holidays in the la pergola and are looking forward to seeing the next one again. the la pergola is a very friendly family business, in which the service still has a nice word or a joke in the greatest stress at the evening.The prices are unfortunately typical of Sylt, but for that you get a very good food. we had both simple spaghetti aglio et olio and meat dishes, all very good. the dessert card is almost but every single dessert is delicious, in particular the zabaione is highly recommended :)-not to underestimate is the advantage that one still gets a table even without reservation: place is not only up on the road but also in the generou...
the friendly and accommodating greeting of the staff made it easy to add to the table with joyous expectation.The first look into the menu however had come up doubtful whether we really landed in a good-bourgeois Italian. €14.00 for spaghetti and €3.90 for a small sprite sat the expectations extremely high.Leider was also not fulfilled this expectation. the foods were good and also really edible but unfortunately the price-performance ratio was in no way justified.
because on sylt you don't really find many Italian restaurants and our demand for pizza after all the fish was very big, we tried and were more than disappointed, even really upset. the pizzas have so really nothing with a real Italian pizza common, have zero taste, the teig is not crispy, the quality of the ingredients really miserable and that for almost 20€ per pizza (even if you order to pick up!). really a cheerful! for us never again la pergola!
we have been going to eat in the la pergola for years, whenever it should be a pizza or pasta and we have expected nothing big. but since this year all the dishes on a hit 2-4€ are more expensive than last summer. therefore the price/performance ratio no longer fits. it was the last visit for us for the first time. pizza margherita for 12€, bottle water 8€, very simple open white wine (0.2l) for over 7€.

we were placed in the cellar during our visit and have been served twice drinks or dishes that we had not ordered.This was still the amusing part of the evening when we saw the card and above all the prices, we laughed:Hugo
here is zack zack. you get to eat quickly, but feel like a full-size as the chef prefers to sell every place in the evening 10 x. eat ok, but nothing special. wanted a change to fish. pizza here rather average. Weep okay.
good kitchen. service good and courteous. the chef should sometimes be a little more reserved. I'm sure we'll be back when we're on the island.
