WHAT A FANTASTIC!!! PLACE!! Well worth a visit, this was our 1st time here. We try a new restaurant on our anniversary every year, and this has been the best in 8 years. Food was fresh and cooked perfectly. Portions were big and value for money. So Looking forward to coming back and trying their Sunday Roast, If you've not tried la piazza, you really should, you won't be disappointed. We meet the the owner Amanda and our server Elaina whom were so attentive and made our anniversary dinner special. Couldn't have asked for better. This has honestly became our favourite restaurant from now on and can't wait to try the remainder on the menu, BTW my hubby is vegetarian and had a selection of item...
Was here for the wknd and just came in it was a bit quiet but the staff very welcoming and friendly lovely decor and clean restaurant. Got mussels for starters they were delicious no complaints . Chicken with roast potatoes where again very nice fish linguini again very nice kids pasta lovely nice bottle of pino grino desert we got Termasu this was the only let down it was a bit dry needed more booze or moist biut a lovely restaurant well recommended!
The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The food was decent, but when dining with three Italians, they weren't too impressed with its authenticity, and I would have to agree. Each dish seemed to have additional ingredients added to make it stand out. It felt like a very English interpretation of an Italian restaurant.
Our party of seven all agreed, it felt like we were abroad eating here! Super friendly, lovely ambience, great food and cocktails , twinkley lights and wide open space. Nothing was too much trouble , menu varied , reasonably priced too. Will definitely book again when in the area as we had a great few hours .

went with family for get together and lunch at 2.30pm.food was amazing,really well cooked and well presented. everyone enjoyed their meal, citing it as tasty, well prepared,great portion sizes.chatted later to the owner,who was lovely and very hospitable,and was our waitress also that day!
We had a large group booking and ended up having the whole upstairs to ourselves! Our waiter was so lovely and enthusiastic and even offered for us to put our own music on through the aux! It was a great atmosphere and has a beautiful interior, plus the food and drinks went down a treat!
WOW!! This is the best Italian food we have ever had in Sussex! The food is delicious and leaves you craving more. The service from Max and the owner Amanda was exceptional. The atmosphere and restaurant are truly special. We will definitely be returning soon! 5 stars all the way!
We had a surprise birthday party at this family-owned Italian restaurant last Friday night. The staff treated us like family with their great attitude, helpfulness, and amazing food. It turned a special night into a truly great night. Thank you very much!

We got a very warm welcome and felt very much at home. The lovely ladies were friendly and the food was great, it made for a relaxed evening after a long drive from Worcester and preparing for the London to Brighton British Heart Foundation Bike Ride.
Food is amazing, great music and Elena is a lovely hostess happy smile very friendly and had a good laugh with us
