La Placa Llado - Réserver une table

We found this local village restaurant in Llado, Catalunya in October. We had been told about it by a friend. We ate here twice at lunchtime and on both occasions we had the splendid lunchtime menu at 10€ which was fantastic value for money including starters, main courses and desserts. The staff made us feel very welcome and helped us as we don't speak Catalan. The restaurant was scrupulously clean and stylish. The food was delicious and my mouth waters now thinking about the pigs cheeks so tender! The portion sizes were plentiful and we will definitely return. Plenty of choices and everything well prepared!

Just back from a fortnight in the area and we went to this place three times for their excellent lunchtime Menu del Día which, at €10.50 per head for a 3-course meal including a bottle of wine each, is stunning value. The menu varies daily by the look of things and the Macarron starter is excellent, as is the cuttlefish mussel paella main-course they do on a Thursday. Don't be squeamish though, the Galta de Porc (pork cheek) is to die for, amazingly tender, tasty and worth a special trip to the area. Thanks to the little waitress Montse for accommodating us so willingly.

Orrible esperiencia!!!Tardaron muchissimo a servirnos,todo el personal encerrado en la cocina i nadie atendiendo la sala restaurante ,ademas la escudella passada i recalentada,el cordero quemado,i los caracoles muy secco,muy mala esperiencia i cara !!!

Typical and well cooked Catalan menu. Also seasonal variations. Kind people working there. To repeat frequently.
