La Potiniere - Sables d'or Pins

We had a delicious lunch here. Service was great - friendly and helpful. Good value kids menu too. We had bretonne style scallops which were great - really tasty. Then we had the fish dish of the day - cod in a delicate lemon butter sauce. Beautifully cooked and delicious. One of the best meals of the trip. Highly recommend. We were off season and the town was quiet - even so this place was almost full at lunch time and clearly getting telephone bookings for dinner. In high season booking would likely be essential.

We had a three night break in Les Sables D'Or Les Pins last week. Having read previous reviews we headed for La Potiniere. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much, that we dined there throughout our stay. It was always busy, but the staff were very attentive.The set price menus are good value, but we were also tempted by the specials board ! Altogether a lovely experience.

Excellent lunch with family of 5. Oyster starter (at only extra 4 euros to add the starter to the 2 course lunch price), excellent value and absolutely delicious, big oysters too, better than a previous days restaurant. Main was massive bowl of mussels in white...More

We were spoilt for choice with the menu and eventually plumped for cod with rice and steak with chips. The cod was cooked to perfection as was the steak so was thoroughly enjoyed. Excellent service on top made it a great experience so highly recommended.

We have been going here for a few years including last week. It is a friendly restaurant with a nice atmosphere and decent, if unspectacular, food. The best option in Sables d'Or. Best to book in advance.
