Love this husband and wife run place. They are from Sri Lanka, and as well as a wide range of sandwiches and pastries, they do a Sri Lankan day's menu, either with meat or vegetarian, and at 12sfr the price is unbeatable. Expensive swiss prices for amateur dish quality. Had the chevre salad and the cheese was okay but my friend commented that my salad looked like it had gone to where salads go to die. It seemed like it came from a bag at coop. Also had a cheap-tasting glass of pinot noir and a pizza, which was just okay. My friend had a rosti which he said was adequate. In total we paid 60 chf for food quality that should have cost 30.. I would not come back, nor recommend.
On the main lake front road, handy for everywhere, views over to marina, catches sun outside until 7/8, nice feel, it’s a great place to hang and also good people watching place. Understated but don’t be fooled, the food is great and really nice people who work there. I went 2 nights in a row. Going home tomorrow or I d go back! Try the Swiss red wine. V moreish.
Simple and friendly place, old-fashioned decor with dark wooden chairs and tables. The cuisine is simple and delicious and the desserts very well served. The service was quick and friendly.

Very nice. They thought of the dog who accompanied us by bringing them water and offered treats. It’s a nice little touch. The chicken salad was very good and in sufficient quantity.
A little coffee while waiting for my boss, no eye-to-eye contact with the waitress, just a hello on the tips of her lips. Not even a thank you good evening when paying
