La Svolta Pizzeria

La Svolta is without a doubt one of my favorite Italian restaurants that has a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options. They have a vegan menu on Thursday’s (which I am yet to try but they also have a few vegan specials day to day. You can also veganize your order with vegan cheese on request (e.g. you order the margarita pizza with vegan cheese instead of regular cheese. I can’t recommend the pizzas enough, they are made in an authentic wood fired oven so you really get that gorgeous toasted crust, it’s great! In terms of vegetarian options, I have also tried the eggplant parmigiana which was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an authentic Italian meal!

You can also request vegan cheese to substitute for regular cheese on dishes like the Margherita Pizza. The pizzas, cooked in an authentic wood-fired oven, have a delicious roasted crust that I highly recommend. I also enjoyed the eggplant parmigiana as a vegetarian option. If you're looking for an authentic Italian meal, La Svolta is a must-try!

This restaurant provides a simple dining area with fast service. They offer a fantastic variety of wines. The pizza and tiramisu are outstanding, and the espresso is divine. A heartfelt thank you from Far North Queensland. Overall rating: Food 5/5, Service 5/5, Atmosphere 5/5.

I recently tried takeout from this restaurant for the first and last time. The portion included only two small shrimp, a few strands of greens, and mostly bread.
