"happened on this big little cafe by chance in the evening she had a concert in the street. We had to move on so that only the musicians could warm up, but what a fantastic atmosphere. The food was great, but as it was... the concert was just what the Assiette Repas was called, which would have been good as an appetizer, but would not have filled a small child (although very favorable). What we did was delicious, homemade, local organic, really loved the ethos of the place and would like to return another day."

This restaurant is run by a young couple who appear to enjoy adventurous food and really try hard to share this with their clients. Having said that on the only day I went they were definitely having an "off day". Portions were small, odd combinations - for example a puree of turnip served with salmon and food served luke warm on cold plates. Deserts were good - they make excellent macaroons but nothing to write home about. At 16Euros for the set lunch without wine this seems to me to be fighting way above its station and it certainly cannot compete with other restos serving lunch at this same price. Nous avons découvert ce petit café par hasard en soirée alors qu'il y avait un concert dans la rue. Nous avons dû déménager pour laisser place aux musiciens, mais quelle atmosphère fantastique. La nourriture était excellente, mais comme c'était... le concert était juste ce que l'Assiette Repas était appelée, ce qui aurait été bon en apéritif, mais n'aurait pas rassasié un petit enfant (bien que très savoureux). Ce que nous avons mangé était délicieux, fait maison, bio et local, nous avons vraiment apprécié l'éthique du lieu et aimerions y retourner un autre jour.
