Unfortunately our visit yesterday as a couple was a disappointment. The ambience was anything but inviting for a restaurant that relies on high prices. The rooms seem cramped and very loud. You also look out over a supermarket, which doesn't make the whole thing particularly appealing. The open kitchen is interesting, but the background noise is so loud that you can hardly understand your own words. When the restaurant is at full capacity, entertaining is almost impossible. The atmosphere and service are great but not impressed with the tapas . The flavor of the food should be #1 if they want to offer a authentic Spanish food tapas experience . I grow up eating Spanish food and some of the tapas there lack in flavor. Some of the dishes can be improved . They were below the expectations . A must for us when we are near the Werksviertel. The food is always great, no matter what you order (my favorite is the grilled chorizo! . Spanish beer and homemade sangria, as well as the cocktails are impeccable and invite you to order an extra drink every now and then. We have been here many times and will do so again and again. Clear recommendation, for me the best tapas bar! Tip: leave room for dessert!
The Tasca Flamenca is an exceptional restaurant In which you can experience the culture, ambience, and cuisine of Spain. The service is incredible, and you can order in German, Spanish, and English. When you stop in, ask the waiter for a recommendation and you will not be disappointed.
