The food is okay, the rice and beans and breaded chicken I ordered were kind of bland. The service there is poor. The women at the front was very rude. I speak Spanish but a different dilect, being from a Caribbean family. I had asked for some help because our countries have different names for different foods. She laughed at me, rolled her eyes, and treated me like i was stupid. I only had asked her one simple question.I had to wait 40+ minutes for a simple dish. Other people came and ordered much more food than me, all Latinos. I ordered a multitude of things, but felt that it was way more bland than an authentic Hispanic place would be.People were extremely kind and nice, but I won’t be going here again.I was looking for a simple Rice and Beans place but this couldn’t go past that basic staple.I found Puerto Viejo in Bound Brook to be better tasting.The food was 2 star but the variety they carry and the niceness of the staff is worth giving it another star.Magic Question: Would I go there again.Magic Answer: No!
I ordered a veggie burrito, cheese quesadilla, and bean and rice empanadas. The food was delicious and really enjoyable. The restaurant was also nice and clean. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5!
Really, really good. I had a burrito al Pastor, friends had tacos. We were all very happy with what we got. Great value and great quality. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area.
