Went there for a first time visit based on recommendation from two other people that went here for lunch 1. Please read the negative reviews of this place!!!!! They are true 2. Steak is thin and has no flavor. They add no seasoning or marinades. Yes a steak should be good without any additions. This is not the place to expect that at. It is not a Fine Dining establishment even though the owner would have you believe it is according to his response from another negative review. 3. This restaurant also caters to a visibly elder crowd and apparently also their palates that might be the same as it was in their younger years. 4. Service was not exceptional in any way. My wife took our family for Father's Day, and had confirmed prior that we were able to order off the menu. When we arrived we were told that that was not possible and were only given the option for the buffet, which included mostly luke warm food. While they provided some accommodation by not charging our children after escalating our concerns, we still ended up paying $26 plus the cost of coffee, tea and drinks per adult for a meal that was not nearly worth that. It felt like a bait and switch which never sits well with you. We decided to try something new and in the end were left frustrated by the experience. Terrible, terrible, terrible service. We didn't even end up eating any food because the service was so bad. I went to L.A. Town Grill with my elderly Grandmother and was seated in the back corner of the restaurant. We then proceeded to wait for 45 minutes for someone to come and take our drink orders. The restaurant was not busy, so I don't understand how one of the 4 servers couldn't come over and offer bread or bring water. My Grandmother then proceeded to try and wave a server over, and every one of them ignored her. After the 45 minute wait, and many attempts to flag someone down we decided to leave. So overall just an atrocious experience. We will not be coming back.
The food and customer service is phenomenal. This is one of my favourite place here in Lasalle . It's nice to have a nice classy restaurant with great food in this area . I am tired all these fast food restaurant that offers the same fry stuff . The owner of this restaurant is very kind and respectful . He always go out his way to make my meal and visit pleasant . In my opinion I prefer this operate local business than spending my money at the Keg . Supporting local business is important with this economy . The stuff is pleasant and amazing . The quality of food is outstanding. I never had a complaint and if I ever did, I will discuss with the owner .
On a positive note, our server was pleasant, professional, and courteous. The atmosphere had potential, but the lighting was overly bright with harsh white lights and distracting color-changing LEDs. This was our second visit, as LaSalle deserves a restaurant like LA Town Grill strives to be, but regrettably, we won't be returning.
The service was lacking. Our server brought us a bread basket filled with warm bread, but she forgot to bring plates and silverware. We had to ask another server for those. The food was just okay; I ordered the roast beef dinner, which was overly salty. This will be my first and last visit to this restaurant.
Went with a larger group for breakfast. Some of us had the all you can eat buffet and the others just ordered a breakfast special. We were all very pleased with it meal and service. The all you can eat breakfast buffet had a very wife variety of fresh food. Will definitely be returning again.
